The Capacity Building Commission (CBC), Government of India, in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPARD J&K) and the General Administration Department (GAD), Government of Jammu & Kashmir, successfully conducted two batches of the Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram for State Master Trainers (SMTs) at IMPARD, Srinagar.

A total of 56 officers representing various departments of the Government of Jammu & Kashmir participated in the programme. The first batch was conducted on 13–14 July 2026, while the second batch was held on 15–16 July 2026. The trained officers will now serve as State Master Trainers and lead the cascade of the Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram across their respective departments, extending the reach of behavioural transformation initiatives throughout the Union Territory.

The programme is being steered under the leadership of Ms. Rehana Batul, IAS, Director General, IMPARD J&K. The sessions were led by Lead Trainers from Capacity Building Commission Mr. Uzair Simnani and Ms. Shreshtha Bansal. The programme was facilitated by Dr. Ruqaya Amin, Associate Professor, IMPARD J&K, whose coordination and academic support contributed significantly to the smooth conduct and successful implementation of both training batches.

The successful conduct of the two batches marks an important milestone in the implementation of Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram in Jammu & Kashmir and lays the foundation for the large-scale rollout of behavioural transformation training across departments of the Union Territory.
