The Capacity Building Commission, in collaboration with ADBI, Stanford LAD, and supported by ADB, hosted a Celebratory Call marking the successful conclusion of the Advanced Case Study Writing Workshop launched in December 2024. The event featured reflections from CBC leadership, ADB, Stanford LAD faculty, and ADBI on the importance of documenting scalable governance innovations through the Amrit Gyaan Kosh. Speakers applauded the 50 high-quality case studies produced, highlighting their role in advancing evidence-based policy and promoting case-based learning. The session concluded with the announcement of the Second Case Study Writing Workshop, scheduled for September 2025, with nominations which were open for faculty from government training institutions.
Amrit Gyaan Kosh - Launching of Second Edition of Case Writing Workshop
The Capacity Building Commission (CBC) has launched the Second Edition of the Advanced Case Writing Workshop under the Amrit Gyaan Kosh (AGK) initiative, with 140+ nominations from faculties of premier public service institutions across India. The orientation, featuring insights from CBC leadership, ADBI, and Stanford LAD, underscored the workshop’s role in capturing real governance experiences to foster peer learning, policy reflection, and institutional impact. Building on the success of the first edition, CBC aims to expand its repository on iGOT Karmayogi — with 40+ cases already live, including 10 co-published with the Asian Development Bank for global outreach. The aim is to expand its repository to 90+ cases by the end of the year and in multiple languages.
