On 10 August 2026, the Capacity Building Commission, in collaboration with the Government of Rajasthan, conducted the Senior Officer Edition of the Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram for senior officers of the State.
Rajasthan became the first State to conduct this high-level Senior Officer Edition of the programme, marking an important step towards strengthening behavioural leadership and Seva Bhav at the senior-most levels of public administration.
The programme was conducted in two batches, with 70 senior officers participating, including Shri V. Srinivas, Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, who participated throughout the programme.
The programme commenced with the inauguration and welcome address by Ms. Sreya Guha, Director, RIPA, followed by a special address by Ms. Chandralekha Mukherjee, Principal Advisor, Capacity Building Commission.
Designed specifically for senior leadership, the programme focused on behavioural transformation, purpose-driven leadership and strengthening the spirit of Seva Bhav in public service.
The programme provided an opportunity for senior officers to pause from the demands of day-to-day administration and reflect on their journey in public service, their role as leaders, and how their authority can be translated into meaningful outcomes for citizens and the State.
At its core, the programme reinforced a simple idea:
Public leadership is not only about the position we hold, but the purpose with which we use it.
The active participation of the Chief Secretary and senior officers throughout the programme reinforced the importance of values-led and citizen-centric leadership in strengthening public administration.
A meaningful step towards nurturing a culture of Seva Bhav, ownership and purposeful leadership across Rajasthanβs public administration.
