The Capacity Building Commission (CBC), Karmayogi Bharat , and the Government of Mizoram signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Aizawl to strengthen capacity building initiatives in the state.

Mr. Khilli Ram Meena, Chief Secretary, Mizoram, acknowledged the need for systematic capacity building to meet the requirements of an evolving workforce. He welcomed the support of CBC and Karmayogi Bharat in enabling the state to ensure that officials are equipped with the right competencies and skills for effective governance. He emphasised on lifelong learning of officers in Mizoram.

Dr. R Balasubramaniam, Member (HR), CBC, emphasized the vital role of Administrative Training Institutes in shaping a future-ready civil service. He highlighted the importance of competency-based capacity building, integration of e-HRMS with the iGOT platform, and preparing officers today to deliver on the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Shri. S P Roy, Secretary, CBC highlighted the role of Capacity Building Units in enabling the Capacity Building in the state. He explained the structural framework of overall coordination between the state and Capacity Building Commission. He also highlighted the importance of capacity building plan and the workshop to be planned for its development.

This partnership marks a significant step in advancing #MissionKarmayogi and building an agile, skilled, and citizen-centric workforce.
