A tripartite MoU was signed between the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), Karmayogi Bharat, and the Government  Of Assam , India, marking an important step in the mission to strengthen governance capabilities. The signing ceremony was attended by the Chief Secretary of Assam, Dr. Ravi Kota, IAS ; Dr. R Balasubramaniam, Member HR, CBC; Dr. Alka Mittal, Member Admin, CBC; Smt. V. Lalithalakshmi, Secretary, CBC & CEO of Karmayogi Bharat, and Shri S P Roy, Secretary, CBC.

Following the signing, a workshop outlined key achievements of #MissionKarmayogi over the past three years, including CBC and Karmayogi Bharat’s work with Central and State Governments. Discussions covered promising areas of collaboration, such as:

* CBC’s Viksit Panchayat Initiative
* Interventions with Urban Local Bodies
* Development of a Centre of Excellence for Urban Planning and Development for Assam
* District-Level Leadership Program

Principal Secretaries and department heads from Assam’s Secretariat participated in the workshop. Chief Secretary Dr. Ravi Kota Ji expressed the state’s commitment to effective governance through #CapacityBuilding and ongoing collaboration with #CBC and #KarmayogiBharat.

Together, CBC, Karmayogi Bharat, and the Government of Assam are excited to enhance the capacity in public administration, paving the way for a brighter and more empowered future, and contributing to #ViksitBharat.
