CBC and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) conduct 3rd edition of Bharat CPSEs' Consultative Conclave 2026

CBC and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV) conduct 3rd edition of Bharat CPSEs' Consultative Conclave 2026 on the theme "Excellence in Project & Asset Management for Viksit Bharat" (23rd - 25th July 2026). 


A joint initiative of the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and Department of Public Enterprises (Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India), with GSV serving as the strategic Knowledge Partner, the conclave brought together leaders from CPSEs, government, industry and academia to strengthen project execution and infrastructure development.
Dr. Alka Mittal, Member (Administration), CBC, stated that the conclave has served as a platform for professionals from project management and core sectors to exchange knowledge, experiences and best practices. Highlighting the crucial role of CPSEs in India's infrastructure growth, she described public servants as "Nation Builders" and urged participants to transform ideas into measurable outcomes, noting that "a goal without an effective plan remains only an objective."

Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Choudhary, Vice Chancellor of GSV, emphasized the need for resilient supply chains, AI-driven project management and PM Gati Shakti. He highlighted GSV's mandate as the country's focal point for the infrastructure, transportation and logistics sectors, while also elaborating on the university's executive education initiatives in these domains.

Chief Guest Dr. Mangu Singh, Former Managing Director, DMRC, stressed that timely and objective decision-making, empowered officers and sound contract management are essential for successful project delivery.

The Guest of Honour, Shri Moses Chalai, Secretary, DPE, who joined virtually, underlined technology adoption, visionary leadership, efficient manpower management and collaboration as key drivers to achieve Viksit Bharat.

A special thanks to the distinguished speakers, Shri Nalin Shinghal, (Former CMD, BHEL) and Shri Pankaj Kumar, (Former Director Productions, ONGC) for mentoring the participants during the event.
