Eligibility Criteria

  1. Indian national.
  2. Below 35 years of age on the date of application.
  3. Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject/ B.E/B.Tech/ MBBS/ LL.B (Hons) or possessing any professional degree acquired after 10+2.
  4. Three years of Post-degree working experience in project management/coordination, academics, skill training, capacity building activities (fellowship after graduation will be considered as work experience).

Roles & Responsibilities

Karmayogi Saarthis (Program Coordinators), will play a crucial role in implementing Mission Karmayogi across Ministries, Departments, or Organizations (MDOs). Primary responsibilities include:

  1. Strategic Planning and Capacity Building: Develop and implement Capacity Building Plans (CBPs) aligned with the goals of Mission Karmayogi and tailored to the needs of the assigned MDOs. Collaborate with stakeholders to drive initiatives that enhance capacity-building efforts.
  2. Program Design and Delivery: Design and facilitate training programs, workshops, and other learning interventions to promote continuous learning and upskilling within MDOs, ensuring alignment with Mission Karmayogi's objectives.
  3. Monitoring and Evaluation: Track the progress of capacity-building initiatives, prepare periodic reports, and support the evaluation of training programs to ensure their effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
  4. Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison between CBC, MDOs, and partner organizations, fostering collaborations and ensuring alignment of initiatives with Mission Karmayogi’s framework.
  5. Digital Integration and Knowledge Management: Curate and manage domain-specific content for the iGOT Karmayogi platform and maintain updated dashboards reflecting progress against national standards for capacity-building initiatives.
  6. Partnership Development: Build and sustain partnerships with Central Civil Services Training Institutes and other relevant organizations to facilitate the delivery of impactful training programs.
  7. Reporting and Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impact of capacity-building initiatives and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with Mission Karmayogi’s overarching goals.

Desired Skills/Qualifications

  1. Educational: Master’s degree in relevant subject, M.Phil, PhD, CA or ICWA or Research experience and published papers will be desirable criteria. The candidates having work experience with a private organization should have experience or assignments relating to any Government department, agency, or public sector undertaking. Contractual assignments with Government or public undertakings will also be counted as relevant experience.
  2. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with external partners.
  3. Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, reporting and presentation making.

What is the typical work schedule and environment for a Program Coordinator/ Karmayogi Saarthi?

  • Normal office hours of attendance on all working days are from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. with a lunch break from 1.00 p.m. to 1.30 p.m.
  • The office will remain open for regular work for five days a week from Monday to Friday, and all Saturdays will be Holidays. However, in exceptional cases, based on need, you may be required to work on a few Saturdays.
  • In some extraordinary circumstances, the appropriate authority may require attendance even on Holiday or beyond working hours during the week.
  • The work environment is a professional and fast-paced office setting in both the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and Capacity Building Unit (CBU) of the allocated Ministry/Departments/Organisation of Central Government/ State Governments/Urban Local Bodies. (MDOs of C/S/ULBs)
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, workshops, and training sessions

What is the base location for this role?

All Program Coordinators will be required to be based out of New Delhi (unless specifically recruited for State level implementation)

Is there a conveyance allowance for Program Coordinators?

There is no conveyance allowance provided for travel within New Delhi. However, the Program Coordinator will be entitled to outstation travel allowance as per the policy mentioned in ‘Guidelines and Process for Engagement of Program Coordinators for Capacity Building Commission.’
