Indian Knowledge System

  • The Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Cell at CBC, with support from Brhat, hosted a reflective workshop for CBDT officers on Karmayogi Leadership through Indian Knowledge Systems. Exploring Svādhyāya, Svabhāva, Svadharma, and Sahakāryatā, the session linked self-knowledge to purposeful collaboration in governance.
  • The IKS Cell at CBC, with AAROHĀ’s support, hosted a transformative workshop on “Svadharma in Public Service,” bringing together 40 officers from 12 CSTIs. Through reflection and dialogue, participants explored how aligning with svadharma fosters citizen-centric, values-driven governance.
  • IKS Cell at CBC conducted a Workshop for Decolonization in Civil Service Training Institutes, with support of DoPT, IKS IIT Delhi, and INDICA Academy. It was attended by 44 participants from 29 institutes. The workshop is aimed at identifying a harmonic understanding of decolonization of the mindset from the perspective of capacity building - which contributes significantly to the making of the Indian bureaucracy.
  • The research article "Reclaiming the Future: Indian Knowledge Systems and the Decolonization of Policy and Capacity Building" authored by Shri R. Balasubramaniam, Ms. Tanushree Bhat, and Dr. Sakshi Pandey has been published in the Journal of Communications Finance, Vol. II, Issue I, 2025, by the National Communications Academy – Finance (NCA-F).
