The Rashtriya Karmayogi Large Scale Jan Seva program has commenced at one of India’s premier healthcare institutions, #AIIMS, New Delhi, which serves over 10,000 patients every day. Addressing the second batch of Master Trainers, Dr. R Balasubramaniam, Member (HR), Capacity Building Commission, applauded their commitment and highlighted the program’s vision of nurturing Seva Bhav (spirit of service) and Svadharma (sense of duty) among civil servants. Officials were encouraged to step away from their desks and recognize that every action—big or small—shapes the lives of citizens. This marks a fundamental shift from being process-driven to becoming purpose-driven and moving from Rule based to Role based governance.
A true #Karmayogi moment was witnessed when, six inspiring posters on “Who is a Karmayogi” and “Karmayogi Moments” were prepared by organisation and inaugurated by Member (HR) with Director, AIIMS New Delhi. This symbolic gesture underscored the spirit of agility, dedication, and collective ownership.
The session marked a shared Sankalp to strengthen India’s #healthcare system, with AIIMS New Delhi emerging as a model institution that will inspire and set benchmarks for others across the nation.
