Hemang Jani, Secretary Capacity Building Commission addressed the gathering Inaugural session of the ongoing 12th Education Summit by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on "Improving Industry-Academia engagements in India". The session was chaired by Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Minister of State, Ministry of Education & Ministry of External Affairs, India.

The summit brings together subject matters, experts, and policy to highlight the key points in the education sector and discuss the way forward,

Addressing the gathering during the inaugural address, Secretary CBC spoke about the salient approach of National Education Policy (NEP) to enable practical learning and innovation in education. He highlighted on key areas where Academia-Industry can collaborate to improve curricula, pedagogy, and support translation of research of research into innovations.
