The National Conclave of Civil Services Training Institutions was held as part of SĀDHANA Saptah, aligned with this year’s theme of “Technology, Tradition, and Tangible Outcomes,” highlighting the integration of legacy strengths, emerging technologies, and measurable outcomes in capacity building.

The Conclave was attended by Smt. S. Radha Chauhan, Chairperson, CBC, who delivered the closing address, emphasising the need to transform civil services training institutions to strengthen governance outcomes. Earlier the conclave was commenced with an inaugural address by Smt. Chandralekha Mukherjee, Principal Advisor, Capacity Building Commission.

The Conclave featured presentations by four Taskforces comprising senior leadership and faculty from training institutions, covering the thematic areas of Collaborative Capacity Building and Resource Sharing; Post-Excellence Institutional Leadership and Mentorship Pathways; Technology, iGOT and AI-Enabled Training Quality Enhancement; and Sustainable Funding, Governance and Resource Mobilisation.

The Taskforces presented actionable recommendations developed through an extensive consultative process, involving over 150 senior officials and stakeholders and engagement with 62 well-established training institutions across sectors, through multiple structured discussions and regional consultations.

The event witnessed participation from over 600 representatives from Central and State Training Institutions, PSUs, Ministries, Departments, and Organisations (MDOs), who engaged with the emerging directions and recommendations.
