As part of #SādhanaSaptah 2026, the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) formalised a strategic partnership with the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS) through the signing of an MoU, in the august presence of Dr. Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
This partnership has been advanced under CBC’s broader vision of the Global Digital Capacity Building Alliance. The partnership also reflects a shared commitment to architecting AI-native public officials and enabling governance systems that are more adaptive, future-ready, and globally connected.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Ms. S. Radha Chauhan, Chairperson, CBC; Professor Sachin Kumar Sharma, Director General, RIS; Shri Jagdeep Gupta, Secretary, CBC; Dr. Vashima Shubha, Advisor, CBC; Mr. Anil Jauhri, Visiting Fellow, RIS; and Dr. Pankhuri Gaur, Assistant Professor, RIS.
By combining RIS’s research depth and global policy networks with CBC’s vision for a future-ready digital capacity-building ecosystem, this partnership has the potential to shape new models of international cooperation and contribute meaningfully to the emergence of more capable, agile, resilient, and AI-enabled public institutions.
