IIT Bombay is delighted to complete capacity-building program entitled Highways for 21st Century India – Modern Technologies for Highways for Morth India in partnership with Indian Academy of Highway Engineering and NHAI INDIA. IIT Bombay feels humbled that the Hon’ble Minister Gadkari Nitin took time from his busy schedule to interact with the participants and encouraged them to adopt innovative technologies to enhance quality, improve sustainability, reduce cost, and increase speed of execution.

The program was conducted in partnership with Capacity Building Commission under Mission Karmayogi. Among topics were Bridges for 21st Century, Accelerated Bridge Construction, Ultra High-Performance Concrete, Fiber Reinforced Bars, Perpetual Pavement, and Structural Health Monitoring. Secretary Giridhar Aramane extolled the participants to implement the lessons from the program.
