Under #MissionKarmayogi, the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), in collaboration with the Directorate of Urban Local Bodies (DULB), Government of Haryana, organized a one-day Capacity Building Workshop for Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of the state at the Haryana Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Gurugram.

The workshop witnessed the participation of over 100 senior officials, including Municipal Council Presidents, Commissioners, District Municipal Commissioners, Executive Officers, and representatives from #DULB and #HIPA. Participants were introduced to the #iGOTKarmayogi platform aimed at fostering a culture of anytime, anywhere, #ContinuousLearning for government officials. Deliberations throughout the day centered on embedding the principles of citizen-centric #governance and enhancing service delivery – key principles of Mission Karmayogi.

The event was graced by the presence of Smt. Rajrani Malhotra (Hon'ble Mayor, Gurugram Municipal Corporation), Dr. Alka Mittal (Member – Administration, CBC), Shri Pankaj (Director General, DULB Haryana), Shri S P Roy (Joint Secretary, CBC), and Shri Pradeep Dahiya (Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Gurugram).

This workshop marks a pivotal step in equipping Haryana’s urban governance ecosystem with the skills and capacities needed to realize the vision of #ViksitBharat2047.
