Dr. R Balasubramaniam, Member–HR, Capacity Building Commission, visited the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Academy today to engage with the institution and gain insights into its training approach and organizational development model.

The Academy has demonstrated consistent improvements in training quality, currently holding a Three-Star rating under the NSCSTI framework. Dr. Balu reviewed their ongoing practices and experienced the simulation-based training technology used in preparing metro pilots.

He encouraged the Academy to:

1. Share selected training modules on the iGOT platform,
2. Contribute case studies to the Amrit Gyaan Kosh, and
3. Pursue re-accreditation under NSCSTI for continued quality enhancement.

Member HR also urged the Academy to strive for higher benchmarks of excellence and actively share its practices and learnings across the broader capacity building ecosystem. CBC and DMRC Academy discussed potential avenues for future collaboration in training design and knowledge exchange.

The Commission expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. Ghansham Bansal, Dean, DMRC Academy, and his team for their hospitality and commitment to strengthening public service training.
