The first batch of the 2-day State Master Trainer (SMT) Programme under the Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram (KKK) commenced at the Chhattisgarh Academy of Administration, Nimora, Raipur.

Facilitated by National Lead Trainers (NLTs) deputed by the Capacity Building Commission, the programme brings together 34 participants from diverse departments of the Government of Chhattisgarh, who will be functioning as State Master Trainers to anchor the State-wide rollout of the initiative.

The Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram seeks to strengthen the spirit of Seva Bhav among frontline public servants - the teachers, health workers, police personnel and other citizen-facing functionaries who shape the everyday experience of governance. Through a cascade training model, the programme aims to foster empathy, purpose, responsiveness and citizen-centricity in public service delivery, enabling officials to reconnect with the larger mission of nation-building through service.

Building upon the success of the Rashtriya Karmayogi Jan Seva Programme, this initiative marks an important step towards institutionalising behavioural transformation and nurturing a culture of people-centric governance across States.
