At the launch of the Narmada District Karmayogi Program on 25th February in Ahmedabad, a leadership session facilitated by Dr R. Balasubramaniam set the tone for what this initiative truly stands for: strengthening the power within public servants to deepen their power to serve.
This session was conducted with a select group of master trainers and experts under the KARMODAYA: District Karmayogi Program, Narmada, who will now carry this leadership perspective forward. Between March and May, they will engage with 241 Class I and Class II officers across Narmada district building mindsets, enabling reflection, and a renewed spirit of sewa bhaav.
Leadership rooted in chaar gunas of svadhyaya, sahakaryata, rajyakarma and realising svadharma based on Karmayogi Competency model will cascade across departments, roles, and hierarchies, strengthening governance at the district level.
This initiative is enabled by a tripartite collaboration between the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), School of Ultimate Leadership (SOUL), and the Government of Gujarat, aligned with the larger vision of Mission Karmayogi, enabling transition from rule to role, from authority to trust, and from compliance to commitment.
