Dr. R Balasubramaniam, Member (HR), Capacity Building Commission (CBC), visited the BEL Academy for Excellence, Bengaluru - a training institution that exemplifies sustainable design and capacity building.

The Academy is envisaged to serve not only BEL employees, but also its customers, vendors, and partners—especially MSMEs/SMEs. Its programmes are structured around three core areas: Quality, Technology, and Leadership, designed in collaboration with experts from premier institutes such as IITs, IIMs, IISc, IETE, ISI, ASQ, and others.

It was inspiring to discuss the Academy’s vision and its immediate priority of launching the Quality Improvement Programme (QIP). Together, we look forward to elevating training standards and fostering continuous excellence in public sector learning.
