Capacity Building Commission and Department of Finance (DFS), Ministry of Finance, collaborated to host a one-day Fintech workshop held on October 04, 2023 at Vanijya Bhawan, New Delhi. 

The workshop addressed digital technology's role in improving financial access and inclusion to address national priorities for involving ministries such as Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India  Ministry of External Affairs, India, Ministry Of Corporate Affairs, Prime Ministers Office, NITI Aayog, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India and more. Chaired by DFS secretary, it brought together administrative, regulatory, and industry stakeholders. The morning sessions covered the fintech sector's sectoral scenario in India, in a global evolutionary context. Industry experts and thought leaders led discussions on Digital Public Infrastructure, Regulatory Issues, and India's fintech future. Afternoon sessions showcased impactful fintech stories, demos, and group activities.
