As part of ACBP for the Department of Defence Production, Capacity Building Commission facilitated an a 2-day immersion program for officials from Defence PSUs such as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Earth Movers Limited - India (BEML), and Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) at Walchandnagar Industries Limited (WIL). The immersion program was held on the topic "Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes in Aerospace and Missile Manufacturing". 

During the program, WIL made an elaborate presentation on how it imparts Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Quality Ethics in its processes. This was followed by a shop floor round where the visiting team had a hands-on experience with facilities and infrastructure, and also an understanding of mass and size, intricacies of product and manufacturing process, qualification and trials. 

The feedback from the visiting officials was unanimously positive as they intend to use the learnings gained at WIL in their own organizations.
