The Phygital course on ‘Emerging Technologies’ by Capacity Building Commission was launched today by Hon’ble MoS, Rajeev Chandrasekhar in presence of Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman CBC and Hemang Jani, Secretary CBC. The course is developed by CBC in partnership with Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) and Wadhwani Institute of Technology and Policy.
The course is designed as an introduction on key emerging technologies for civil servants, wherein the online part of the course is already available on iGOT and is now being followed by 2 days offline program at IIPA.
While addressing the gathering, Hon’ble MoS said that countries around the world are in awe of India’s prowess in technology. Post the pandemic, digitization is the way of 21st century for world governments and markets, and India has emerged as a leader in this trend. A big credit for which goes to PM’s push for digital India since 2014.
Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman CBC, added that the goal of the program is to use technology to leapfrog development. Hemang Jani, Secretary CBC, further added that technology is the solution for efficient governance, and the phygital course on emerging technology will enable civil servants to build skill set required for this transformation.
