CELEBERATING TEACHERS' DAY

CELEBERATING TEACHERS' DAY

“गुरु ब्रह्मा गुरु विष्णु, गुरु देवो महेश्वरा, गुरु साक्षात परब्रह्म, तस्मै श्री गुरुवे नमः”

At the core of Mission Karmayogi is continuous learning and competency-driven capacity building. It envisions a future-ready civil service rooted in Indian ethos, with a global perspective. Key teachers in the civil service capacity building ecosystem in India, are our Civil Service Training Institutions (CSTIs), and the IGOT Karmayogi platform, shouldering the responsibility of teaching and training ~31 lakh Karmayogis.

On this Teachers' Day, the Commission extends its heartfelt thanks and celebrates the dedicated faculty of all 800+ CSTIs who play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our nation's governance. Your commitment to excellence and passion for imparting knowledge and empowering our civil servants with the skills and insights necessary for effective public service is commendable.

As we reflect on these invaluable contributions, we also acknowledge the pivotal role of the IGOT Karmayogi platform in facilitating anytime-anywhere learning, ensuring that every civil servant has access to essential resources and guidance for their professional development. The platform boasts over 4.3 million registered civil servants, 1100+ digital courses, and 11 million courses completed. The teachings on IGOT not only impart knowledge but also instill the values that make a true public servant.

Together, these efforts cultivate a culture of lifelong learning and excellence in public administration. The contributions of CSTIs and the IGOT platform have been instrumental in advancing the competency-driven capacity-building goals of Mission Karmayogi. Taking inspiration from Dr. Radhakrishnan’s teachings , the end of all education should be the betterment of the individual and society. This spirit embodies the mission of shaping future leaders who will work towards citizen-centric, effective, and efficient public service delivery.
