The Capacity Building Commission (CBC) held an interactive meeting with Gopabandhu Academy of Administration (GAA), Odisha, along with senior officials from 28 departments of the Government of Odisha, to review key Mission Karmayogi initiatives and chart the way forward.
The session was chaired by Smt. Chandralekha Mukherjee, Principal Advisor, CBC, with Shri Sumeet Singh, Director, CBC, and Pragyan, Karmayogi Saarthi. Dr. Monalisa Lenka, OAS (SS), Deputy Director General, GAA, and Smt. Babitarani Dalabehera, OAS (SAG), Additional Director, GAA & Director, Centre for Good Governance, Odisha (CGGO), along with senior officials from 28 departments, were also present.
In her opening remarks, Smt. Chandralekha Mukherjee highlighted the importance of strengthening Odisha’s institutional capacity and taking forward Mission Karmayogi through coordinated and outcome-oriented implementation.
The discussions focused on four key areas:
🔹AI-iGOT Driven CBPs – progress, validation and implementation
🔹Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram – rollout strategy and action planning
🔹UNNATI Portal – onboarding and institutional readiness of Training Institutes
🔹iGOT Karmayogi – onboarding and adoption
Shri Sumeet Singh reiterated the importance of Karmayogi Kartavya Karyakram for Odisha and shared insights on taking the programme forward through concrete action plans, department-wise planning and structured way-forward planning.
A live demonstration of the AI-iGOT CBP Tool and UNNATI Portal was conducted by CBC, showcasing their application in strengthening Odisha’s capacity-building ecosystem. The Odisha Mission Karmayogi Status Report was also discussed.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment of CBC and Odisha towards a stronger, technology-enabled and outcome-oriented capacity-building ecosystem for a future-ready and citizen-centric civil service.
